Often when people compliment great pieces of art they say something like, “Oh that’s wonderful. I could never do that!”
Drawing is a learnable skill. Just like playing the piano or learning to ride a bike.
With the right combination of practice and desire you can do almost anything. But you have to start before you see the end.
It May Be but not everyone can in fact be adept at it!Everyone can doodle however it takes years of practice to become proficient…You know that as it is something you have learned over a period of years. I began as a child because of an illness–asthma which kept me confined to bed a lot so the #2 pencil became my friend. Learning to draw is a practiced endeavor just like reading and writing but we use those more. Anything can be learned but the degree of achievement differs for everyone. My father was amazing with stained glass But he couldn’t make a cartoon/Pattern to save his soul.. and perhaps if he had Time and Patience maybe he could have achieved his level of need–Maybe! I say this because he really had no desire to learn if I could in fact do what he needed in a limited amount of time.
